Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026. This policy explains how Caribbean Travel Deals uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small files stored by a website or third-party service on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, tags, pixels, and scripts that help remember choices, measure site activity, or support advertising.

Your choices

You can accept all, reject non-essential technologies, or choose by category. Necessary storage is always on because it is needed for site operation, security, form protection, and remembering your privacy choices.

Cookie and storage categories

Category Purpose Examples Choice
Necessary Runs the website, supports forms, remembers consent choices, and protects basic security. Consent preference stored in local storage as ctd_consent_preferences; Netlify form handling and spam protection. Always on
Analytics Measures page views, deal clicks, filters, newsletter attempts, and site performance. Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga and _ga_* only after analytics consent. Optional
Advertising Supports Google AdSense ad delivery, ad measurement, fraud prevention, frequency management, and personalization where allowed. Google AdSense and related Google advertising storage only after advertising consent. Global Privacy Control turns this off. Optional
Affiliate and supplier sites Outbound links may set referral or booking cookies after you leave this site. Hotel, resort, package provider, tour operator, or affiliate network websites. Controlled by the third-party site

Google Consent Mode

The site sends Google consent signals with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. If you grant consent, the relevant Google scripts can load and consent signals are updated. If you reject non-essential technologies, Google Analytics and AdSense scripts are not loaded by this site.

AdSense and certified CMP note

Google requires AdSense publishers serving ads to visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. This site’s consent manager provides first-party choices and Google Consent Mode signalling, but a certified CMP should be enabled before scaling advertising in those regions.

Browser controls

You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all storage may affect forms, consent memory, and some website features. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising storage is treated as turned off.

Policy updates

This policy will be updated when new analytics, advertising, newsletter, affiliate, or supplier tools are added.
